INSTALLATION TEST
What is the pur-
pose of the
'Installation test'
operating
mode?
The 'Installation test' operating mode checks that the entire fire detection installation, including
fire controls, acoustic alarm devices etc are functioning correctly. All functions remain switched
on.
Ensure that the remote transmission is switched off or that the fire brigade has been informed in
advance of the test activities.
When in 'Installation test' operating mode, Sinteso
TM
, interactive, AnalogPLUS and CBA detec-
tors have a
shorter response time
(response behavior as in 'Test condition' operating mode).
Once testing is complete, the 'Installation test' operating mode should be ended straightaway.
The 'Installation test' operating mode is normally switched on and off at ZONE level, but can al-
so be done at SECTION level.
The 'Installation test' operating mode should only be used by security personnel and is used to
test the alarm organization and fire controls.
