Range of Application
The Sync-Transceiver converts a fiber-optic signal to a 24 V DC signal. It is provided with
one FO input channel and one 24 VDC output channel.
The device is used to convert and transmit signals for the synchronization of the SIMEAS R
real-time clock.
A power supply is integrated in the housing to generate the voltage required for the converter
board from the auxiliary voltage.
Characteristics
The housed Sync transceiver is a hard-wired and tested functional unit. It is provided with a
snap-on mounting device for a 35 mm DIN EN 50022 rail and with one two-pole screw-type
terminal each for safe connection of the auxiliary voltage and the Sync signal. The fiberoptic
channels are connected by F-SMA (screw-type) terminals.
