Connecting Ethernet ports
1.
Connect the connector and socket. Make sure that they lock in place correctly.
2.
Tighten the knurled screw (torque 1 Nm).

Antenna connector
The device has two antenna connectors of the type N-Connect located on the top of the
device.

Procedure
Follow the steps below to connect a cable for an external antenna:
1.
Remove the caps.
2.
Insert the connector on the antenna cable into the N-Connect socket and screw the
screw cap of the connecter onto the socket (key size SW19, tightening torque 1.7 Nm).
3.
If you only use one antenna, you need to connect this to the device via antenna
connector R1 A1

4.
Screw a terminating resistor to the unused antenna connector R1 A2

if you are only
using one antenna.
Note
Terminating resistor
You can connect one or two external antennas to the WLAN interface. At the antenna
connector R1A1, there must always be an antenna connected as soon as the WLAN
interface is turned on. The unused antenna connector R1A2 must have a terminating
resistor fitted; see Accessories (Page 21).
if no antenna is connected, the relevant interface must also be disabled for RX and
TX. Otherwise, there may be transmission disruptions.
