For transporting audio signals in the network, a length of
20 ms

40 ms
can be selected for the audio frames. The value to be selected depends on
the external SIP device used.
Acoustic button acknowledgements
Acoustic feedback at the door station when pressing a call button. A
standard acknowledgement tone is output. Alternatively a suitable audio file
can be imported and used for output of a button acknowledgement (see
menu
System maintenance > Acoustic button acknowledgements
).
Line prefix and (external) call
number
Telephony route which determines which telephony gateway can be
reached using which call number including country dialling code (e.g.
0
and
004977231234567890
). For this, a preconfigured telephony gateway and a
call number plan are required.
Button configuration
Expert mode
The button configuration is assigned as standard with the
single click
and
double click
modes and can be upgraded by activating the
expert mode
to include the
press button
and
release button
modes.
Single click
A function is initiated when pressing the button.
Double click
A function is initiated when quickly pressing a button twice and releasing.
Press button
When pressing the button (rising signal / edge) a function is initiated.
Release button
When releasing the button (dropping signal / edge) a function is initiated.
Button functions
No action
Button has no function.
Device call
Call a selected device (e.g. ASHT – Mr. Maier).
User call
Call to all the devices of the selected user (e.g. Mr Maier).
Group call
Call to all devices of the users that are configured in the called call group
(e.g. Purchasing department group).
External call
Calling any optional (external) call number (preconfigured telephony
gateway and call number plan required).
