6.5 Lifting and Lowering the Back
Warning
Always advise the patient, before lifting and lowering the back.
Warning
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES put objects between the stretcherspring’s frame
and the back section. DO NOT MOVE the moving parts by hand, and follow the
instructions carefully.
In order to lift the back proceed as follows:
• Pull up the lever and lift and guide the back gently.
• Release the lever, when the required height is reached.
In order to lower the back proceed as follows:
• Pull up the lever and lower and guide the back gently.
• Release the lever, when the required height is reached.
The regulation of the backrest is obtained by a lever that powers a gas spring that permits the movement of
the backrest.
