Position the new controller inside the cabinet.
▸
Refasten the controller to the rear panel of the cabinet using the two socket-head
screws.
▸
Place the terminal blocks, together with the cabling, back inside the designated slots.
▸
Plug the Ethernet cables into the designated connectors.
▸
Select the same position for the microswitch as in the removed controller.
7.2.3
Putting the replacement device into operation
▸
Restore the supply voltage to the cabinet.
The controller starts and, after initialization, loads the parameter set from the memory
card to the permanent parameter memory.
7.3
Replacing the battery in the controller
A battery powers the real-time clock of the SIM2000-2 Prime controller. The battery must
be replaced when drained.

Risk of burns due to hot surfaces on the controller during operation.

Do not touch hot surfaces.
▸
Wear suitable safety gloves.

Remove black plastic cover on the front side of the controller.
▸
Remove the battery from the bracket and replace it with a new CR 1632 type battery.
▸
Put the black plastic cover back in place.
▸
Dispose of the old battery as hazardous waste as per the ROHS directives (Europe).

Set the system time again using the SOPAS software (
