Fault diagnosis
The LCUR1411 interface unit comprises various standardised sub-components (see
Figure 7-1). It is only possible to establish correct function in the system with a C4000
Standard/Advanced safety light curtain connected.
If malfunctions should occur, for instance during commissioning or in the operating phase,
please check the components listed in the following.

Fault diagnosis on the C4000 safety light curtain
First check the correct connection of C4000 sender and C4000 receiver to the LCUR1411
as per chapter 5.3.
If you cannot find the cause of the fault here, note the procedure for fault diagnosis in the
SICK operating instructions “C4000 Standard/Advanced Safety Light Curtain”, chapter
“Fault diagnosis”.
