Operation and Menu structure of the SPU via LC-Display
4.2
Operational concept
FLOWSIC60 is equipped with a front panel containing a two-line LCD to display current
measured values and diagnostics and enter installation specific parameters. The values to
be displayed or modified can be selected using the magnetic pen without removal of the
front cover.

Front panel
The sensors for operation with the magnetic pen are highly sensitive. In order to navigate
accurately through the menus, consider the instructions below:
Hold the magnetic pen right-angled to the front panel.
Point the magnetic pen tip directly onto the sensors. (not the keypad)
Remove the magnetic pen at least 10 cm from the display after each operation of a
sensor.
Hold magnetic pen onto a sensor for approx. 1 s means short operation of sensors.
Hold magnetic pen onto a sensor for > 2s means long operation of sensors.
Operation of FLOWSIC60 using the LC-Display is realized by four commands.
Refer to
for description of these commands.
