Device status “System in Service”
Function
The device status “System in Service” can be activated with a menu function. This can be
used, for example, to signal to an external place that the EuroFID is not running in regular
measurement mode, as maintenance work or device settings are being performed.
The “System in Service” device status is also a requirement for several functions in the
M a i n t e n a n c e
menu.
If the “System in Service” device status was
automatically
activated, it cannot be
deactivated with a menu function; when the menu is opened, a corresponding note
appears.
Action
When the “System in Service” device status is activated, the following occurs:

The “Measured value valid” status output is deactivated (

The threshold value indicators (alarms) are deactivated (for information refer to

The “Service” LED lights up.
●
The “OK” LED does not light up.
Procedure

If the “System in Service” device status is necessary but not activated
when a menu function is opened, the “Maintenance” menu appears
automatically. If

is selected, the required menu appears.

When the respective menu function is finished, the “System in Service”
device status can be deactivated once more (set to
N O
). After deactivation
in the menu it takes around thirty seconds until the “System in Service”
device status is reset.
