Configuring threshold value alarms
Function
Threshold values can be set for monitoring the measured value. As long as the measured
value is inside a threshold value,
●
The respective alarm switching contact is activated (
)
●
The LED “Alarm” lights up (
The alarm signals are not self-latching, i.e. the alarm signal is automatically deactivated as
soon as the measured value is inside the threshold value once more.
Exception:
This does
not apply to alarm signals for which the self-latching function is activated (
). Such alarm signals must be manually deactivated (
).
The function of the alarm signals can be influenced
– By programming a delay (
)
– By setting the hysteresis (
“Hysteresis (differential gap)”
).
Threshold value modes
There are two threshold value modes:
a) Two threshold values for alarm signalling when the threshold value is not reached (L1,
L2) and if the threshold value (H1, H2) is exceeded.
b) Three threshold values for alarm signalling if the threshold value is exceeded (H0, H1,
H2).
Threshold values
The threshold values are physical values (the physical unit is shown in the menu).
Set the threshold values so that the relations are maintained (
).
Example:
H1 acts as a pre-alarm before H2. For this reason the threshold value H1
must always be lower then the threshold value H2.
To deactivate a threshold value:
Set
0
as a threshold value.

An alarm signal can only be reset when the measured value is inside the
respective threshold value once more.

The alarms are not in operation when the “System in Service” device status
is activated (
