Options for MCUDH Ex-3K control unit
The Interface module Modbus® ASCII/RTU is a retrofit option when an MCUDH Ex-3K
without integrated module was ordered. The optional Interface modules Ethernet and
Modbus® TCP/IP of the MCUDH Ex-3K must not be used in the Ex-zone. To use these
options, an MCUDH Ex-3K with integrated Interface module is required and a signal line
must be laid from the integrated module in the Ex-area to which the optional modules can
be connected (
see “Communication options”, page 62
).
