NOTE
The recommended mounting position is laser first, which will give a faster result. How‐
ever, the image will be mirrored in Y direction when viewed in
Stream Setup
. If you need
to be able to for example read text on the scanned items, choose mounting position
laser last.
For best result, it is important to shield out direct sunlight and other disturbing light
from the field of view. The camera is fitted with an optical red band pass filter to reduce
ambient light but some shielding might still be needed.
6.4
Field of view diagram
Each device is uniquely calibrated, which means different devices can have slightly
different fields of view. The maximum guaranteed field of view represents a value
guaranteed for any Ruler3000. The brighter area represents an example of a field of
view.
NOTE
To ensure the application can be used by several Ruler3000 of the same type, make
sure all data of interest is within the guaranteed field of view, see
.
