» Push a hose clamp (not included in delivery) for approx. 10 cm
on your hose.
» Push the hose over the connector of the valve (1).
Attention:
Never turn the hose in counterclockwise direction
while pushing it over the connector.
Tip:
The hose can be pushed easier if it is heated before (for
example with a hair dryer or with warm water).

» Fix the hose with the hose clamp.
» Connect the hose to the vacuum pump according to the
operating instructions of the pump.
We recommend to integrate a cold trap between desiccator and pump to protect the pump from
condensates and aggressive products

» Open the valve (1) which is connected to the vacuum pump by
turning completely counterclockwise.
» Close the other valve (2) by turning carefully clockwise until
you feel a slight resistance.

» Put your components into the vacuum desiccator.
» Close the door and block all latches (4) by turning
counterclockwise.

» Activate your vacuum pump and monitor the evacuation
procedure. The mounted vacuum gauge (3) indicates the inside
pressure.
» Close the valve (1) by turning clockwise and switch off your
vacuum pump as soon as the requested pressure is reached.
