Safety Precautions
The precautionary information that appears in this manual is for
ensuring that the product is used safely and for preventing injury to
you and other people and damage to equipment.
It is all important for ensuring safety and so be sure to read it
thoroughly before using the product and observe it during use.

Misuse might cause electric shock, generation of heat,
fire, or rupturing, which will result in burns, serious
injury or blindness.
• Do not leave in a location that heats up, for example, on
dashboards or near windows in cars, in the direct sunlight,
inside cars in the hot sun or near stoves or other heat
sources.
• Do not leave near stoves or other heat sources.
• Do not immerse the DB-10N in water or allow it to get wet.
• Do not short-circuit the electrodes with wire or other metal
objects.
• Do not throw or subject the DB-10N to impact, such as
dropping it from high places.
• Do not directly solder the terminals.
• Do not put inside microwave ovens or other high-voltage
containers.
• Do not allow infants, animals or pets to touch the DB -10N.
Licking the DB -10N or putting it in your mouth or biting it is
dangerous.
• Do not place heavy objects on the DB-10N.
• Insert the dry cells making sure that the polarities (+ -) of the
electrodes are oriented correctly.

use.
• Do not dismantle or modify this product.
• Do not use the DB-10N in environments subject to flammable

• When not using the DB-10N for a long time, remove the dry
cells.
• Do not mix used and new dry cells together.
• Before replacing the dry cells, remove the DB-10N from the

CAUTION
Misuse might cause moderate injury or physical damage.
• When disposing of the DB-10N, remove the dry cells inside, and
dispose of it in accordance with the disposal laws and
regulations of your local governing body. Also dispose of dry cells
in accordance with these laws and regulations.
• If you notice abnormal odors, heat generation, deformation, or
anything different or unusual from up till now during use and
storage of the DB-10N, immediately stop use and contact your
Sibata agent.
• Immediately move the DB-10N away from flames if the dry cells
leak or you notice an abnormal odor.
• This product assumes use of alkaline AA (LR6) dry cells. Since the
cells used are rechargeable dry cells, other dry cells sometimes
cannot be used since their dimensions differ from those of alkaline
dry cells. Also, OXYRIDE and EVOLTA
*
cells cannot be used
since their voltages, dimensions and shape are different. Some AA
(LR6) alkaline batteries are slightly larger than others and might be
difficult or impossible to insert. If the size is not correct, please use
another AA battery.

manual for the dry cells.
• When carrying the DB-10N, be sure to put it in its box as far as
possible.
