Disposal of the Product

 

The BU-24L uses a lithium iron phosphate battery. (Iron phosphate) lithium ion batteries are a precious 
resource and can be recycled. In accordance with the Act on the Promotion of Effective Utilization of Resources, 
a notification from the Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, the manufacturer is obliged to recover 
and recycle such items. This product is not designed to allow customers themselves to disassemble it or 
remove the lithium ion battery. For disposal, contact your Sibata representative or the 

distributor where you 

purchased the product. 

 

< If This Product Was Used in Environments Exposed to Asbestos >

 

This product may have become contaminated with asbestos if used in environments exposed to asbestos. 
Accordingly, after use, please dispose of it as waste asbestos (dispersible asbestos waste), a 
specially-controlled industrial waste prescribed under the Japan's Waste Disposal and Cleansing Act, in 
accordance with the applicable disposal procedure.

Warranty

 

If a Sibata product fails within one year from date of purchase, it will be repaired free of charge. To request 
repairs, contact your Sibata distributor. Be sure to provide the item code, product name, model number, serial 
number, a description of the problem, and other relevant information. Consumable parts included with Sibata 
products are not covered by the warranty. The warranty excludes any problems resulting from any of the 
following causes. Such repairs are subject to normal service fees. 

(1) Faults due to improper usage 
(2) Faults or damage resulting from repairs or modifications implemented by parties other than Sibata 
(3) Faults or damage resulting from fires or natural disasters, such as earthquakes 
(4) Faults or damage occurring after purchase due to relocation, movement, falling, or vibration 
(5) Faults or damage resulting from the use of consumable items not specified by Sibata 
(6) Sales date or seal either revised or not affixed by the sales outlet 
(7) [Modifications and Repairs Are Prohibited] Never disassemble or modify this product, as doing so will void 

the warranty with Sibata. Doing so may also result in unforeseen faults and accidents
