Clear the CMOS (J12)
J12 is used to clear the CMOS data. Clearing the CMOS will result in
permanently erasing the previous system configuration settings and restoring
the original (factory-set) system settings.
Pin 1-2 (Default)
Pin 2-3 (Clear CMOS)
Step 1.
Turn off the system power (PC-> Off)
Step 2.
Remove jumper cap from J12 pins 1-2
Step 3.
Place the jumper cap on J12 pin 2-3 for a few seconds
Step 4.
Return the jumper cap to pin 1-2
Step 5.
Turn on the system power (PC-> On)
Clear Password (J15)
J15 is used to clear the system Password which you set in the BIOS. Clear-
ing the Password will result in permanently erasing the previous system
password settings and restoring the original (none password) system set-
tings. You will find this function is very useful when you forget your system
password setting.
Pin 1-2 (Default)
Pin 2-3 (Clear Password)
Step 1.
Turn off the system power (PC -> Off)
Step 2.
Remove jumper cap from J15 pins 1-2
