Use And Care
Table Safe Use Practices
Always use safe practices during loading and unloading patients from the table. All
procedures should be created by the facility owner and followed. Common sense and being
aware of safe practices should always drive procedures. Below is a list of recommendations
and situational conditions that require attention, heed all warnings.
• Do NOT operate the lift table before checking to ensure the unit and surrounding area is clear of
personnel, animals and obstructions.
•
Do NOT operate the lift table on uneven flooring. Adjust leveling feet to ensure the unit is stable.
• Always balance the load on the table surface, center patient on the table.
•
Do NOT allow animals to jump off the table.
• Do NOT sit, stand or lean on the table. Animal use ONLY.
Table Lift Function
The table may be equipped with a Continuum Table Base which has a hydraulic lift feature
that utilizes a foot actuated mechanism to raise and lower the table approximately 12 inches.
The table top surface is 29 inches above the floor in the lower position. The top can be
raised to 41
inches above the floor.
Always maintain full control of patients when using the table or its operable functions.
Failure to do so could result in SERIOUS INJURY or DEATH.

Do NOT exceed the weight limitations (250 lbs) of the table. Exceeding the weight limit
may cause equipment failure.
