CHOOSING THE RIGHT AUTO S-VIDEO SWITCHER
The S-Video Switcher should be used to handle S-Video and Stereo Audio signals, while the S-Video Switcher should be used to handle
S-Video and Stereo Audio signals.
SINGLE SOURCE OPERATION
When only one source device, such as a VCR, is connected, always connect device to the Auto S-Video Switcher’s AV1 input. Because
AV1 is the default in put, it will automatically be fed to the S-Video outputs when the power is turned off.
MULTIPLE SOURCE OPERATION
As many as four S-Video devices, (such as: DVDs, Camcorders, Video Game Satellite Receivers, Cable TV Set Top Boxes, etc.), can be
connected to the Auto S-Video Switcher via inputs AV1, AV2, AV3 and AV4. Note: The higher the number on the AV input, the higher the
priority. In other words, any S-Video device connected to AV2, AV3 or AV4 will have a higher priority than AV1 to be switched to the outputs
when multiple signals are present on the inputs.
DUAL OUTPUTS
Both of the S-Video outputs will have the same signal that has been selected by internal switching logic of Auto S-Video Switcher. These
dual outputs are provided for convenience.
