about ten minutes. There may be a small amount of smoke and/or odour that is caused by

production residues and is harmless.

Operating Instructions

Check that the heating plates are clean and dust-free. If necessary, wipe them with a damp
cloth. Place the appliance on a flat, level, heat resistant surface away from other cooking
apparatus or sink. Make sure that there is enough ventilation, so that hot steam can dissipate.

Uncoil the supply cable completely. Make sure the heating plates are in the closed position and
connect the supply cord plug into a suitable 230V ~ 50Hz earthed socket.

Allow the appliance to heat for a few minutes before using.

During the heating cycle the Red light will glow. When the appliance has reached operating

temperature and is ready to use the Green light will glow. This light will cycle on and off during
cooking as the appliance automatically maintains the correct temperature.

Slide the locking clip and open the appliance. Place your sandwich on the lower plate. Always
place the sandwich toward the rear end of the plate.

Close the upper plate and lock it with the height control. Depending on the thickness of your

sandwich cooking should take approximately 5-8 minutes. Never leave the appliance
unattended.

After toasting, open the upper plate and lock it with the height control. To remove the sandwich
use a plastic or wooden spatula, do not use any metal object as this may scratch the cooking
surface.

After use, pull out the plug and open the upper lid to allow it to cool down.
