Timer playback:

The unit turns on and plays the desired source (CD, U

S

B,

TUNER or AUDIO IN) at a preset time.

Before setting timer:

Note:

This unit will turn on or enter the power stand-by mode
automatically. However, the connected unit will not turn on
or off. To stop the timer playback, follow step "Cancelling
the timer setting" on this page.

Cancelling the timer setting:

Press the (TIMER)/CLOCK button until "ONCE" or "DAILY"
appears and then press MEMORY button. The unit display
shows "OFF".

The radio, compact disc, U

B and AUDIO IN can all be

turned off automatically.

Timer and sleep operation (Remote control only)

Timer playback

Check that the clock is set to the correct time (refer to
page 10).
If it is not set, you cannot use the timer function.

For timer playback, load the disc to be played back.

Press and hold (TIMER)/CLOCK button for about 2
seconds.

Within 10 seconds, press the

the unit is ready for timer playback.

When the preset time is reached, playback will start.

enter the power stand-by mode automatically.

Checking the timer setting:
