Timer and sleep operation

Timer playback:
The unit turns on and plays the desired source (DVD, video CD,
audio CD, MP3 disc, tuner) at the preset time.

Sleep operation:
You can set the system to the power stand-by mode at the specified
time.

Timer playback

Before setting timer:

1 Press the CLOCK button to check that the clock is set to the cor-

rect time. (Refer to page 19.)

2 Load the discs to be played.

Press the ON/STAND-BY button to turn the power on.

Press the DVD/CD or TUNER (BAND) button to select the
desired function.

When you select the TUNER (BAND), tune into the desired sta-
tion.

Adjust the volume using the VOLUME buttons.

Do not turn the volume up too high.

4

Press the TIMER/SLEEP button repeatedly until " " is dis-
played and then within 8 seconds, press the MEMORY/SET
button.

5

Within 30 seconds, press the PRESET (  or  ) button to
specify the hour to start, then press the MEMORY/SET but-
ton.
