Selecting Summer Time
Perform the procedure below to advance the
clock of the VIEWCAM one hour to summer
time.

In Recording Standby mode, display the
menu screen (see page 25).

Toggle the CONTROL switch to select
“SUMR TIME”.

Press the CONTROL switch to select
“ON”.
• The time automatically changes to
summer time.

Press the EXIT button (MODE
DISPLAY) to turn off the menu screen.
• The
indicator appears when the date/
time is displayed.
To reset to standard time
Select “OFF” in step 3 above.

Windbreak
The windbreak function allows you to reduce
annoying noise from strong winds when
recording.

In Recording Standby mode, display the
menu screen (see page 25).

Toggle the CONTROL switch (

) to
select “WIND”, then press the
CONTROL switch (
W
) to select “ON”.

Press the EXIT button (MODE
DISPLAY) to turn off the menu screen.
To cancel Windbreak
Press the CONTROL switch to set the WIND
menu item to “OFF” in step 2 above.
Note:
• Keep the windbreak function off during normal
recording. If it is left on, the recorded audio may
sound somewhat altered when played back.
