TIMER
To set the VCR for automatic timer recording,
ON/OFF
press the TIMER ON/OFF button and ensure
0
the “TIMER” indication lights on the VCR
display.
NOTES:
l
In step the displayed timer position number is the lowest one which has not been pre-programmed. If
all the
timer positions have already been set, timer position number is displayed. The old timer settings in position
are
cancelled.
l
If the video cassette runs out before recording all the programmes, your VCR will stop, eject the cassette, and shut
off automatically.
l
If power is interrupted for more than 1 minute (power failure, etc.), all timer settings will be cancelled.
l
If the TIMER ON/OFF button is pressed when there is no cassette loaded, “TIMER” flashes for 5 seconds,
indicating that timer recording is not possible.
l
If the TIMER ON/OFF button is pressed while a cassette with an uncovered erasure protection hole is loaded,
“TIMER” flashes and the cassette is ejected.
l
When “TIMER” is lit, regular VCR operation, clock setting and setting/cancelling/confirming timer positions are not
possible. For regular VCR operation, clock setting and setting/cancelling/confirming timer positions, press the
TIMER ON/OFF button to disengage the timer (“TIMER” disappears), and then turn on your VCR.
l
During timer recording, the timer cannot be set or checked.
l
To terminate timer recording, press the STOP button during timer recording.
l
If no buttons are pressed within one minute while setting a timer programme position, the mode automatically
returns to the previous mode.
l
If the same time is input for the start time and the stop time, the timer setting will be cancelled.
