OPERATION

Controlling temperatures

The temperature control is position “ OFF ”

The refrigerator controls its temperature 
automatically.

However, if needed, adjust the temperature
as follows.

If the refrigerator is operated for a long time with
TEMPERATURE  CONTROL  set  at “ MAX ” 
foods stored in the refrigerator compartment
may also freeze.

Defrosting

The  freezer  compartment  is required defrosting  
operation. When frost formed with the thickness 
of 5mm (as thick as the defrost indicator).

PROCEDURE

Take  out  the  Ice  cube  tray  and  foods  stored 

in the freezer compartment.

Slide the fresh case out
to the end .

Push the defrosting button. After defrosting, 
cooling operation starts automatically.

To cancel the defrosting mode, turn the temperature
control knob to “ OFF  ” position. 
The defrosting button will be returned to origin. 
Then set temperature control knob to desire position.

NOTE:

Do not attempt to defrost 
the evaporator by the force,
using knife or sharp metal.  

If  the  thickness  got  over
the  defrost  indicator,
defrosted water may overflow
the fresh case. Pay due
attention  to  this regard. 

Be careful not to defrost when frozen food is stored  
in the freezer compartment, otherwise it will thaw. 

Therefore, it is recommended to perform defrosting 

when no frozen food is stored.

How to make the ice

1. Pour the water into the  

cube tray to the water
level line.

2. When the ice is made, 

twist the ice cube tray to 
take out the ice.

NOTE : 

The knob should not be beyond “ MAX ” position.

When the knob is set at the “ MIN ” dew drops may 
be formed. 

The water is discharged in the fresh case, and user
must drain water from fresh case.   

• Stop the operation of the

  compressor.

The temperature control is position “ MED ”

• For normal operation.

The temperature control is position “ MAX ”

• When not required, be sure

  to return the knob to the 
  original position, otherwise
  all food may be frozen.

• For use in cold season when 

  the out door temperature is
  comparatively low.

The temperature control is position “ MIN ”

• When storing a small quantity

  of food and the door is not 
  opened freequently.

• When require extreme cooling

  and storing abundant quantity
  of food.

How to remove Fresh case

Lift the fresh case up slightly.

Remove the fresh case.

Fresh case

The water is discharged in the evaporating pan 
provided above the compressor, and evaporated 
by the compressor heat.
