TIME DEFROST
This function quickly defrosts food while enabling you to choose a suitable defrost period,
depending on the food type. Follow the example below for guidance on how to operate this
function. The time range is 0:10 – 99:50.
Example:
To defrost food for 10 minutes.
1.
Press the
TIME DEFROST
key.
2.
Enter the cooking time by
pressing the number keys

until the display shows:
10:00.
3.
Press the
START/QUICK
START
key to start defrost-
ing.
(The display will count
down through defrosting
time)
Notes for Time Defrost:
• The preset microwave power level can not be changed.
• Before freezing foods, ensure food is fresh and of good quality.
• If necessry, shield small areas of meat or poultry with flat pieces of aluminium foil. This will
prevent the areas from becoming warm during defrosting. Ensure the foil does not touch
the oven walls.
• After defrosting for one third of the total time, the system will pause and bleep to remind
you to turn the food over to ensure even defrosting.
When this is complete, press
START/QUICK START
key to resume defrosting.
TIME DEFROST FUNCTION
The
AUTO MENU
programmes automatically calculates the correct cooking mode and
cooking time of foods (details on pages GB-24 and GB-25). Follow the example below for
guidance on how to operate this function.
Example:
To cook 0.3kg rice using Auto Cook RICE.
