When broadcasting service for the selected channel is over for the day
• If the no-signal-off function is activated, approximately 15 minutes after the end of service day, the power automatically turns off,
and the TV set enters the standby mode with the power indicator lit red. (See page
171
.)
• The no-signal-off function may not work properly if the TV set receives a weak signal from any other channel or some other wave.
• The no-signal-off function works in the same way when the TV set is in the AV input mode.
CATV channel reception
• CATV channels can be received only in areas where CATV broadcast services are available.
• To receive CATV channels, you need to sign up with your local CATV broadcasting company for subscription. To watch (and record)
charged, scrambled broadcasts, you need to connect a home terminal adapter to the TV set. For further details, consult with your
local CATV service provider.
• The channel up/down buttons can be used for CATV channel selection only after you perform individual channel registration. (See
pages
60
and
61
.)
• The selectable CATV channels are C13 through C63.
