6. Sub-Brightness Adjustment

Purpose: To mix red, green and blue beams correctly
for pure white.

Symptom of Misadjustment: White becomes bluish
or reddish.

Confirmation at [VIDEO-1]

1. Set CG951 to 7/5/3 IRE 3-step grayscale.

TEST PATTERN (7/5/3 IRE)

2. Apply CG951 video signal  to VIDEO1 input.

3. Enter the Service mode.

4. Make sure that contrast and brightness controls are

set to initial position.

5. Confirm “5 IRE” position was biginning to bright.

6. If “5 IRE” position was bigining to bright, no need to

adjust.

7. If “5 IRE” position is not avilable or to be highly

brightness, then adjust the following values by using
remote control unit. Refer to “1. Initial Setting.”
