6. Now, the capacitors of the inverter unit are discharged.
WARNING:
Use the pliers that the portions of their handles are
insulated completely to avoid an electric shock.
7. Remove the water tube from the engine unit assembly.
CAUTION:
When the water tube is removed from the engine unit,
remained water may bleed from the engine unit.
8. Remove the two (2) screws holding the latch base angle.
And remove the latch base angle.
9. Remove the wire harness from the heater terminal of engine unit
assembly by removing the two (2) screws.
10.Disconnect the engine thermistor from the wire harness.
11.Remove the one (1) screw holding the thermo mounting plate to the
heat cover-right assembly.
12.Remove the one (1) screw holding the engine unit assembly to the
heat cover-right assembly.
13.Remove the three (3) screws which are holding the engine unit
assembly from inside of the oven cavity.
14.Now, the engine unit assembly is free.
CAUTION: When the new engine unit is installed, the thermistor
(engine) and engine packing B should be reinstalled.
2. TREATMENT AFTER ENGINE UNIT REPLACE-
MENT
After the new engine unit assembly is installed, carry out the following
three procedures to avoid the error operation.
1. At first, fill the tank assembly with water and carry out
“
(steam cooking)” with manual operation for about five (5)
minutes, referring to operation manual.
2. Then, carry out “
(drain water function)”.
3. At last, fill the tank assembly with water and carry out
“
(steam cooking)” again for about ten (10) minutes. And
check that the error does not appear on the display.
4. If the error is appeared and the oven stops at above step 1, carry
out step 2 and step 3.
REASON
Inside walls of the engine unit assembly have been painted to protect
the engine unit assembly with special paint. And special paint will shed
water initially. By carrying out Steam cooking, paint can be accus-
tomed to water. If this operation is not carried out, the oven will judge
that there is no water in the tank assembly. And the display will show
the error and then the oven will stop.
Because this oven judges that there is water or not by checking on/off
time ratio of the engine unit assembly.
If paint is not accustomed to water, off time will become longer than on
time. At this time, the oven will judge no water.
[11] TUBE PUMP ASSEMBLY REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the power supply cord, and then remove the outer case
and the back plate assembly.
2. Open the door and block it open.
3. Wait for 60 seconds to discharge the high voltage capacitors of the
inverter unit.
4. Disconnect the high voltage wire from the magnetron terminal with
insulated pliers.
5. Make the terminal (metal part) of the high voltage wire contact to
the magnetron body with insulated pliers.
6. Now, the capacitors of the inverter unit are discharged.
WARNING:
Use the pliers that the portions of their handles are
insulated completely to avoid an electric shock.
7. Remove the four (4) screws holding the side angle.
8. Remove the side angle.
9. Remove the two (2) screws holding the latch base angle.
10.Remove the latch base angle.
11.Remove the wire harness from the oven lamp, pump motor and WL
joint (Upper).
12.Remove the engine unit assembly, referring to “ENGINE UNIT
ASSEMBLY REMOVAL.”
13.Disconnect the DC fan motor (cooling) connector. Then remove the
motor angle mounting the DC fan motor (cooling) from the filter
cover (by removing the one (1) screw).
14.Straighten the tags of the front plate of the oven fixing the panel R.
If screw clamping has been applied, remove the one (1) screw.
15.Open the door
16.Pull the right panel R upward and remove it from the front plate of
the oven.
17.Remove the one (1) screw fixing the tank cover to the front plate of
the oven from the front.
18.Remove the one (1) screw fixing the tank cover to the right heat
shield plate assembly.
19.Remove the one (1) screw fixing the tube pump assembly to the
right heat shield plate assembly.
20.Disconnect the display board harness from the control harness.
21.Disengage the control harness connector from the tank cover tags.
22.Remove the drain tube from the exhaust fan motor (sirocco motor)
by loosening the hose band.
23.Remove the tank cover (tank cover assembly) with the tube pump
assembly installed from the set.
24.Remove the one (1) screw fixing the tube pump assembly to the
tank cover.
25.Pull the tube pump assembly out of the tank cover.
26.Disconnect the drain tube from the tube pump assembly by loosen-
ing the hose band.
NOTE: Before installing the tube pump assembly, ensure that the
water supply tube and the drain tube have been connected to
the pipes of the tube pump assembly.
[12] DC FAN MOTOR (Ventilation) REMOVAL
