Troubleshooting

The problems described below are not always caused by malfunctions. Check the TV again before having the TV serviced.

Problem

Possible Solution

 No power.

 Check if you pressed

 on the remote control unit. 

 Is the AC cord disconnected?

 Has the power been turned on?

 Remote control unit does 

not operate.

 Are batteries inserted with polarity (+, –) aligned?

 No picture.

CLEARING THE PASSWORD

If you forget the password, clear the password using the following procedure.

From the ATV/DTV screen, select “Tools” > “Basic settings” > “Function settings” > “Security & Restrictions” > 
“Parental Control” > “Password”, and then press 

ENTER

 and the password input screen will display.

Enter “3001” using 

0 – 9

, select “Disable” in the password settings, and then select “Enable” to reset password.

Select “Back to settings”.

Select “Password” then select “Enable” to set password for parental control.

Enter the 4-digit number as a password using

and then enter the same 4-digit to confi rm. The new password 

is now set.

Fix the stand mounting bracket and stand base 
with 4 pieces of the screws (large) for assembling 
the stand.

Prepare a table and lay the display portion on it.

• 

To prevent damage to the LCD panel, spread a soft 
cloth such as a blanket on the table and lay the 
display portion on it.

• 

Do not remove protective sheet until fi nish the 
setting.

Attaching the stand to the main unit.

• 

Make sure that the 4 tabs on the stand mounting 
bracket are securely inserted into the holes on the 
main unit.

CAUTION 

• 

After laying down the TV, do not push it inside to prevent 
damage to the indicator. Please be more careful.

Fix the stand with 4 pieces of the mounting screws 
(large) for stand and then tighten the screws.

Do not leave a gap 
between the groove on 
the main unit and the 
tabs on the stand.

Attach the stand cover.

• 

Slide the stand cover in the arrow direction and 
attach it with the mounting screw for stand cover 
(small).

CAUTION 

• 

After fi xing the stand, make sure that the stand 
is not loose or wobbling and all the screws are 
securely tightened.

• 

When raising up the TV, please do not push the TV 
surface by fi nger.

How to adjust angle 
(Be careful not to pinch your fi ngers)

• 

Turn the main unit while being careful not to pinch your 
hand.
The angle can be adjusted within the range of 
approximately 15 degrees to the right and left.

Detaching the stand

• 

Please take care the LED part in front of TV. For detach 
the stand base, perform the above steps in reverse 
order.

• 

To prevent damage to the LCD panel, spread a soft 
cloth such as a blanket on the table and lay the display 
portion on it.

CAUTION 

• 

If you remove screws with TV stand-up position, there is 
a big risk that the TV will falling down.
