Preparations for shooting

Attaching the strap
• Pass the end of the
strap through the
camera’s strap mount.
• Pass it through the
strap’s buckle as show in
the illustration.
• Pull the strap to take
up and slack.
• Lastly, pull the strap
firmly and make sure the
strap will not loosen
form the buckle.
• Slide the battery/card
compartment cover lock and
open the cover.
• Being careful about the battery
orientation, Insert the battery.
• Insert all the way until you
hear a locking sound and then
check that it is locked by lever.
When removing the battery, push the lever
toward the arrow and pull out the battery.
• Slide the battery/card
compartment cover lock and
open the cover.
• Slide the card in until it is
locked into place with the
notched corner facing in the
correct direction illustrated .
• Closing the battery/card
compartment cover.
Be sure the battery/card compartment
cover is closed before using the camera.
