MAINTENANCE
WARNING:
• All maintenance, repair or cleaning must be carried out only when the power is disconnected! Ensure
that the inverter is properly disconnected.
• Periodically blow dust from the inverter with dry air. If you are welding daily in dense smoke or dirty
air, do daily cleaning!
• The air flow during cleaning should be at a reasonable pressure so that by some pressure it does not
destroy some small parts of the inverter.
• Avoid contacting water or a couple with the device. In the event of an intervention, the operator must
shut off the inverter and dry the affected area thoroughly. Subsequently, secure the ohmmeter
insulation measurement. Please check for trouble-free use of the inverter before further welding.
• If you do not use the inverter, wrap it where possible in the original box and store it in a dry place.
WARNING: Unconscious experiments, improper repair or unqualified interference with the machine
may result in a widening of the fault area that will cause operating difficulties or permanent damage to
the machine. When performing a repair or service, the device must be in the off state and
disconnected from the network. Otherwise, there is a risk of contact with exposed parts that are under
voltage, and any direct or indirect contact can lead to electric shocks causing a serious electric shock
or even death!
TROUBLESHOOTING
A. Arc problems, arc instability:
1. Make sure you are using a high-quality welding electrode.
2. The electrode, although dry and of good quality, can cause an unstable arc with poor welding
quality.
3. The output voltage will decrease with longer cables. Therefore, use the shorter output cables
provided.
B. The output current does not meet the nominal value:
The output value of the rated power supply does not match the nominal value. Contact the Sharks
Service Department.
C. During the welding process, the current is not:
This can be caused by:
1. The supply voltage is not stable.
2. Suppressed supply voltage
D. Sparkle
1. Use a small electrode with a high current setting.
2. Output polarity. Under normal conditions, you are welding when the electrode holder is connected
as negative and the workpiece is positive.
WARNING:
Do not pull the cable end or plug while the welding process is in progress. This can cause serious
damage to the equipment or injury to the operator.

DANGER! Read the operating instructions and safety instructions before commissioning
Warning! Use a protective mask. During work, poisonous vapors may develop. Keep the device in a
well-ventilated area.
Warning! Always wear a protective helmet.
Warning! Use special welding gloves.
