9.4.7.1 Format HDD

Show the SATA port number connected to the
HDD.

Shows HDD status.

Shows HDD size.
Option
Select whether to scan bad sectors during HDD
format process.
Format
Selected HDD can be formatted.
If bad sectors are found, the sectors do not used
for recording.
Close
Close window without formatting.
9.4.7.2 RAID Setup
On the left side of the RAID setup window, information about the HDD installed in the NVR is displayed. Depending on the number of
the HDD installed, supportable RAID options are activated in the center of the window.
HDD must be installed in the following order for RAID setting and use.
If the hard disks are not installed in order, the RAID option will not be activated even if the number of installed storage
devices meets the RAID option which required.
To use RAID feature, select the RAID option you want and click Apply to apply it.
