Remove the vinyl covering on the ribbon.
Depress the indicated button on the ribbon
spindle while inserting the ribbon roll. Insert one side of the ribbon spindle

Insert one side of the ribbon spindle Push the other side of the ribbon spindle down
to secure it.
Turn the adjustment knob in the arrow direction
to tighten the ribbon. Attach the ribbon to the core with tape as shown.
