5.5.2.2 Patrol procedure (overview)
1. Operator

Transports
Master
to within radio transmission range of
the logger
2. Logger
●
Ready-to-send (radio time frame open)
3. Master

Receives the most recently stored measurement results -
a new line appears in the
PATROL
window
●
Synchronises the logger with the time of day stored in the
Master (corresponds to
Master settings
)
●
Sends an acknowledge signal to the logger, indicating that
the radio time frame is to be closed in
5 minutes

Analyses the measurement results received (see Sec-

Continues from Step 5 if the measurement results are to
be analysed in more detail

Otherwise repeat from Step 1 with the next logger
5. Operator

Takes the
Master
to within the radio transmission range of
the logger again to allow the extended data set to be read
out (remember there is only a 5 minute period in which to
do this!)

Chooses the required logger in the
PATROL
window (se-
lect and confirm)
6. Logger
●
Sends the extended data set for the chosen measurement
7. Master
●
Displays the window
