Correct use

The appliance is used exclusively for heating, grilling and 

thawing foods and beverages. Any other use is deemed 

improper use and can cause personal injuries and dam-

age to the appliance.
•  The appliance is designed for household use or use in 

a similar environment, e.g.

 

in kitchens for employees in stores, offices and 

other commercial areas;

 

– on agricultural estates;

 

– by customers in hotels, motels and other residen-

tial facilities;

 

– in bed-and-breakfast facilities.

•  It is not suitable for commercial use, e.g. in the cater-

ing industry.

•  The appliance is not designed to be operated with a 

timer or separate remote control system.

•  The appliance may not be used in built-in furniture.
•  WARNING: Do not heat liquids or other foods in 

closed containers since these can easily explode.

•  Do not heat eggs in the shell or whole hard-boiled 

eggs with the appliance since they can explode, even 

after the heating by the microwaves is finished.

Power

Since the appliance is operated with electrical current, 

there is a risk of receiving an electric shock. Be sure to 

follow the precautions mentioned below::
• 

Only connect the appliance to a properly installed, 

earthed safety outlet socket. Do not use any extension 

cords or multi-outlet sockets.

• 

Only operate the appliance if the voltage specified 

on the rating plate matches the voltage of your outlet 

socket.

•  Make sure that the power cable is not kinked or 

pinched and that the power cable and the appliance 

do not come in contact with heat sources (e.g. hot 

plates, gas flames).

•  When you pull the power cable out of the outlet, 

always pull directly on the plug. Never carry the appli-

ance by the power cable.
