Important safety instructions

This appliance is not intended for use by
any person (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lacking experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning the
use of the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety.

Children should be supervised to ensure
that they do not play with the appliance.
●
Caution: Keep any packaging materials
well away from children, as they are a
potential source of danger e.g. from
suffocation.

Before the appliance is used, the main
unit as well as any attachment fitted
should be checked thoroughly for any
defects. Should the appliance, for
instance, have been dropped onto a hard
surface, it must not be used any longer:
even invisible damage may have adverse
effects on the operational safety of the
appliance.

Always switch off and remove the plug
from the wall socket after use, and also
- in case of any malfunction and,
- during cleaning.

Always switch the appliance off and
remove the plug from the wall socket
before adding, changing, removing or
cleaning any attachments or cutting tools.

The blades of the blender and chopper
attachments are extremely sharp. To
prevent injuries, take special care when
handling these parts.

After switching off, always wait until the
motor has come to a complete standstill.
Do not touch any moving parts.

Do not allow the appliance or its power
cord to touch hot surfaces or to come
into contact with any heat sources.
●
When removing the plug from the wall
socket, never pull on the power cord;
always grip the plug itself.
●
Do not operate the appliance with more
than one attachment fitted.
●
When operating the appliance without
either the blender attachment or the
chopper attachment fitted, always ensure
that the slide cover is completely closed.
●
Do not touch any moving parts during
operation.
●
When using the blender attachment, the
appliance should be placed on a scratch-
resistant surface.
