APPENDIX II - FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
LED indicators can provide information about possible problems with the Settop M1 receiver. A fast and
continuous flashing light indicates an error in the indicated part of the receiver.
What to do if the receiver does not turn on.
The first step to take is to check the power supply. First, check the battery and then check the cable,
particularly the plugs and see if you notice any defects or if one is missing. The third step is to check the
cable connection. Make sure the cable is connected properly, matching the red dot with the corresponding
point of the connector. Press the power button to turn on the receiver.
The total station is not responding
The total station that is linked to the M1 doesn’t measure or doesn’t respond properly. In order to get it
working correctly, you need to reset the Total Station. If the station is connected via USB cable in the COM2
port, you can do this remotely with the Internet connection.
