AC / DC Switch:
Introduces a High Pass Filter which removes voltage offset from the main Output below
approximately 2 Hz.
4. Calibration
Using a multimeter: set Coupling switch to DC. Send a stable offset voltage (ideally a round value such as
5.0V) to the input of Channel 1 or 2 and turn its control fully CW. Measure the main Output with a
multimeter and adjust the rear trimmer until the output voltage matches the input voltage.
Using a two-channel oscilloscope: Simultaneously monitor the input to one of the three Channels (1 or 2
are easiest) and turn that Channel’s corresponding gain control fully CW. Monitor the main Output and
adjust the rear trimmer so the Input and Output are exactly the same amplitude. Optionally, adjust the
trimmer to provide up to 1.5x gain if desired.
That’s it. Enjoy your Shaka!
