THE CONTROLS

The controls arranged on the front panel consist of (right to left):
1 Program Selector.
2 Drying Timer.
3 Options Buttons: ON/OFF, HALF LOAD, RINSE, EXTRA RINSE, SLOW SPIN
4 Washing powder and conditioner drawer.

Option buttons

The following option buttons are to be used in conjunction with wash programmes.
They cannot be used on their own. Before selecting any wash programme or option
you must always refer to the clothing care labels on your items of clothing.

Programme selector dial

To  select a programme, turn the selector dial in a clockwise direction until the
required programme/number on the fascia is opposite to the indicator mark on the
selector dial. To start a programme ensure that the taps are fully turned on, the door
is closed and the mains supply is switched on. PRESS THE ON/OFF BUTTON, the
programme will then start. The programme is complete when the programme selec-
tor dial is pointing to • position.

Do not attempt to move the programme selector dial during the programme
cycle, if necessary switch off the machine before attempting to move the dial.

Drying timer dial

The drying timer on this machine has up to 140
minutes of drying time (which includes a 20 minute
cool down at the end of each cycle) Select the dry-
ing time turn the Drying Time selector dial clock-
wise until the required drying time is reached. To
save over-drying it is wise to select a minimum dry-
ing time (e.g 40 minutes) and gradually build up
the time if required.

PLEASE NOTE

For optimum results you should always allow the drying pro-

gramme to complete its cycle which includes the ‘Cool Down’ period. The ‘Cool
Down’ period cools the fabrics which prevents creasing.

IMPORTANT
It is very important to ensure the timer dial is positioned correctly when select-
ing programmes. If you pass the programme position you must continue to
rotate the timer dial clockwise until you reach the correct position. Do not turn
the timer dial anti-clockwise. If you select the wrong position without noticing,
it is possible the fabric conditioner will not be dispersed into the appliance.

OPTIONS

(Are in addition to the Programme Selector Dial, they cannot be selected on
their own).

Half load

When this option is selected water consumption will be reduced on the final
rinse/wash cycle. Ideal when washing a smaller load of cottons or linens. To cancel
simply de select.

N.B. When effecting a drying cycle, make sure that this button is pressed.

Rinse Hold

When this button is pushed, the washing machine will stop automatically at the end
of the last rinse cycle and before draining the water. In this case, the washing is held
in the water-filled drum to prevent creasing. This function only works for the delicate
wash cycle.

Delicate spin

select this option reduce final spin the 550 rpm an a normal wash programme

Extra Rinse

The washing machine has been designed to reduce water consumption to a mini-
mum. Three rinse cycles are normally sufficient. For very soft water zones or for
those who are allergic to detergent residues, press this button and the machine will
carry out an extra rinse.

Removal of fluff

After you have dried a particularly “fluffy” load or if you MUST, after the
dry load has been removed, set your appliance to rinse and spin. This
removes the fluff out of the pipes.
PLEASE NOTE This appliance does not have a filter.
