Dissolving CO
2
correctly and in sufficient amounts in freshwater
aquariums is the key to good and permanent plant growth. The ex-
clusively designed
sera flore CO
2
pressure diffuser
is made of acrylic
and provides excellent performance. Unlike diffusers made of glass,
the device is very stable and unbreakable when used under normal
conditions. The unit is easy to disassemble and clean entirely. An eas-
ily visible bubble counter is integrated. Therefore an additional bub-
ble counter is not required.
SAFETY PRECAUTION
The unit may only be connected to a CO
2
bottle behind a pressure
reducer with a working pressure not exceeding 2 bars (29 psi.).
Application and application range (fig. 1)
The CO
2
supplied under pressure is pressed through a high density
and fine pored fritted ceramic disc (1.1) within the pressure diffuser.
The passing fine bubbles immediately dissolve in water, thus imme-
diately supplying the CO
2
required for plant growth. The bubbles are
considerably finer and dissolve better in water than with other dif-
fusers, as the fritted ceramic disc provides especially fine pores.
Count the number of CO
2
bubbles directed into the pressure dif-
fuser per minute (1.2) for dosing the CO
2
.
