charger. The charging status of the radio is shown on the radio screen.
SAFETY CAUTIONS
1.
This charger is for indoor use only. Use only in dry locations/conditions.
2.
Please place the charger on a flat and stable surface.
3.
Charge only approved rechargeable Li-ion batteries. Unapproved batteries may fail or
rupture, causing personal injury and damage.
4.
Use of unauthorized power supply unit (PSU) may result in risk of fire, electric shock, or
injury. Ensure PSU is connected to an electrical outlet with the correct voltage (as
specified on the label of the PSU).
5.
Unplug the charger from the socket before attempting any maintenance or cleaning to
reduce risk of electric shock. Pull from the plug rather than from the cord when
disconnecting the charger in order to prevent damaging the electric plug and cord.
6.
Do not use the charger if it has been broken or damaged, or it may cause fire, electric
shock, or personal injury.
7.
Do not use the charger near any heat source, such as radiators, heat registers, stoves,
or other apparatus that generates heat.
8.
Do not block any ventilation openings.
9.
Do not connect any metal or electric conductive materials to the contacts in the charging
slots; this may cause electric shock, injury or other damage.
10. Do not disassemble the charger and/or replace any components inside. Disassembling
the charger may result in risk of electric shock or fire. Warranty is void if charger has
been disassembled by unauthorized personnel.
11. The receptacle to which this charger is connected should be close by and easily
accessible.
12. Make sure the cord is located where it will not be stepped on, tripped over, or subjected
to water, damage, or mechanical stress.
13. When using the charger, maximum ambient temperature must not exceed 40°C (104°F).
Do not use the radio or attempt to charge the battery with temperature below 0°C (32°F)
or above 40°C (104°F). Battery capacity will decrease under extreme temperatures.
14. Avoid overcharging batteries. Do not leave a battery or the radio in the charger for over
a week, as this may affect the battery performance.
15. Ensure battery and charger contacts are always clean.
