RxControl: Logging > CloudIt > CloudIt Servers
CloudIt is a beta feature and the command description below is subject to change.
As described in the section 1.24, CloudIt uses the OAuth2 protocol to authorize a user to
upload logged files to a resource server.
Use this command to configure a CloudIt server identified by the
Server
argument. The
Server
argument defines where the logged files will be uploaded.
The
Name
argument is optional and helps the user to identify the server during the configu-
ration process.
All the next arguments are required. The
ClientID
and
ClientSecret
arguments identify
the application to the authentication server as described in section 1.24. Note that
the receiver encrypts the
ClientSecret
so that it cannot be read back with the command
The
AuthURL
is the Authorization Endpoint. The
TokenURL
is the token endpoint that the re-
ceiver will use to obtain tokens. The
Endpoint
argument is the upload endpoint in the re-
source server where the files will be stored. The
RedirectURI
(optional) is the URI where the
user will be redirected to after a successfull authentication to get the authorization code. All
the endpoints should be valid http(s):// URLs.
The
Scope
defines the access scope of the receiver to the resource server. For example, if
SBF files will be uploaded, the receiver should have the access to write files to the remote
directory defined by the
Path
argument in
. If the receiver does not have
the right to write to the remote directory, the upload attempts will fail.
When all the arguments are all set, the next step is authentication using the link given by the
command.
The full workflow of CloudIt is described in section 1.24.
