System Description

The PHX UAS is comprised of an unmanned aircraft, a Fly PHX, a data-link communications system, and

maintenance and support equipment, as shown in Figure 67. The aircraft typically carries a camera

payload.

Aircraft Description

The PHX unmanned aircraft is a hand-launched electric aircraft constructed of rugged materials. The

wings and battery attach to the fuselage without requiring the use of tools, as shown in Figure 68.
