manoeuvres or putti ng the vehicle into an unsafe
situati on should not be followed.
! Familiarize yourself with the diff erent vibrati on patt erns,
before driving on the public road with the Tacti le Car Seat.
! Keep the user manual and quick manual in the vehicle
and in readiness whenever required.
The Tacti le Car Seat
The Tacti le Car Seat uses vibrati ons to transmit informati on
to the driver. The Tacti le Car Seat translates instructi ons
from the vehicle informati on system into diff erent vibrati on
patt erns. The seat provides intuiti ve navigati on instructi ons
when approaching exits, juncti ons and even roundabouts.
The Tacti le Car Seat is installed permanently in the drivers'
seat. The Tacti le Inlay will be placed under the car seat
upholstery in the seati ng area. The Tacti le Inlay has 6
vibrati on motors to play pre-set vibrati on patt erns.
The Tacti le Car Seat is connected by an USB Cable to the
Vehicle Informati on System for power and to receive
instructi ons.

Use of the Tacti le Car Seat
Switch the Tacti le Car Seat on
Automati c switch on
The Tacti le Car Seat automati cally switches on when the
car's Vehicle Informati on System is switched on.
When the Tacti le Car Seat is switched on, all vibrati on
motors will vibrate once in alternati ng order.
Manual switch on/off
You can switch the Tacti le Car Seat On and Off in the
Vehicle Informati on System. View provided additi onal
instructi ons for your specifi c Vehicle Informati on System on
how to control the Tacti le Car Seat.
