Light Control
There are four brightness settings that can be applied to the luminaire’s light activation triggers.
The brightness levels are prioritized so that if more than one trigger is active at any given time, the
highest priority controls the activation. Level 1 is the lowest priority, followed by Level 2, then
Alarm. Off is the highest priority and overrides the other three settings. The Level 1, Level 2 and
Alarm brightness settings are made on the Lights sub-panel. Alarm Light Control also includes
Mode and Duration settings. The brightness levels are assigned to zones on the Schedule tab and
the Aux Cfig tab.
Defining the luminaire segments and alarm zones
Each Senstar LM100 system can be organized into up to 50 segments. The defined segments can
then be assigned to as many as 50 distinct alarm zones. Use the UCM software to organize the
luminaires into segments, according to the site’s requirements for alarm detection and response.
The segments are then assigned to zones to fit the alarm zone layouts for display and control, and
routine lighting. Once the segments and zones are setup, you adjust the Threshold independently
for each defined segment to match the sensors response to the fence conditions and to increase
or decrease the detection sensitivity for that segment.
Note
The LM100 UCM Config tab includes 2 indicate buttons to assist in
identifying specific segments and heads (luminaires). Select a segment
or a head, then select the adjacent indicate button. All of the heads in
the selected segment, or the selected head, will flash 5 times.
Note
Luminaires must be numbered sequentially in the Head Sequence list
to be assigned together in a segment (e.g., heads 4, 5, 6, 7 could be
assigned to a segment, but heads 4, 5, 6, 9 could not).
