Senstar LM100 Product Guide
Setting the supervision tolerance
There are four supervision tolerance settings available for use with the Senstar LM100. The
supervision tolerance settings are used to prevent supervision alarms caused by less than ideal
fence conditions and inclement weather. The 1x setting is intended for use with a tight, high quality
fence that is in excellent condition (see
). Supervision tolerance does not affect alarm
detection.
•
Begin with the 2x setting (or lower) and monitor the LM100 for supervision alarms.
•
If you encounter an unacceptable supervision alarm rate, increase the tolerance setting.
OR
If there are no supervision alarms at the 2x setting, reduce the supervision tolerance and
continue monitoring.
•
Continue adjusting and monitoring until a satisfactory supervision alarm rate is achieved.
•
If the supervision alarm rate is unacceptable at the 8x setting, the fence should be repaired or
replaced to be protected by the Senstar LM100.
