SMART3G-GrI series gas detectors meet the essential he-
alth and safety requirements in accordance with the ATEX
Directive 2014/34/EU.
The gas detectors of the ST series have been designed for
use in potentially explosive atmospheres due to the pre-
sence of gas, vapour, mist and dust, classified as zone 1 or
zone 2 (or zone 21 or 22 when the dust cover is applied) ac-
cording to EN 60079-10-1 and EN 60079-10-2 classification.
They have “Ex d” protection mode (explosion proof),
designed specifically for applications in mines or under-
ground (Group I) according to CESI 14 ATEX 034 certificate
in compliance with EN 60079-0 and EN 60079-1 standards.
