Detector identification
Every detector connected to the control panel is identified by a code which allows its
configuration and contains all the principle data required to physically identify it.
For example:
CHN 02001
Indirizzo modulo IN/8 o rilevatore gas
(Module IN/8 or detector address)
da 0 a 255 (from 0 to 255)
Posizione rilevatore da 01 a 08 se modulo
IN/8 oppure 00 se rilevatore collegato su bus
(detector position from 01 to 08 if IN/8
module or 00 is detector on the bus

Programming by PC
The MU+S1/32B control panel is fully programmable with a dedicated
configuration software. The software has been designed to make the control panel
programming simple and fast.
The control panel can be connected to a Personal Computer using the RS232C serial
port available on the main board.
The correct serial cable is necessary to connect the control panel to the computer. (The
connector pin layout is shown below)
