EM 3700 Series
EM 3732 True Diversity Receiver
Architectural Specifications
The wireless microphone receiver shall operate in the UHF band with a switching bandwidth of 90 MHz. It shall use technologies
such as true diversity reception and DSP emulated HiDyn plus noise reduction for improved sound quality, minimized drop-outs,
and best possible signal-to-noise ratio.
The receiver’s operating frequency shall be programmable in 5 KHz steps, 6 preconfigured and intermodulation-free factory fre-
quency banks shall be available for reliable multi-channel setups. In addition, one user frequency bank shall allow for customized
setups to avoid RF interference. A preset scan function shall be implemented; continuous scanning within the switching band-
width shall be available with connected computer control software. Fast synchronization between receiver and transmitter shall
be via infra-red link.
The receiver shall have an integrated antenna splitter so that up to 8 receivers can be daisy-chained without any additional an-
tenna splitters. An AES3/EBU digital audio interface shall provide connectivity to digital audio equipment. The receiver shall be
menu-driven with an LC display showing current frequency, frequency bank and channel number, metering of AF and RF level,
equalization settings, squelch threshold level, output gain, muting function, battery status, and lock status.
The receiver shall have network connectivity via Ethernet for computer control. Simultaneous monitoring of both audio chan-
nels shall be available through a headphone output with independent volume control. The audio output shall be transformer-
balanced.
The wireless microphone receiver specified shall be a Sennheiser EM 3700 Series True Diversity Receiver.
