OPERATION 

In case of fire, the solder component that holds together the Cover Plate and the Retainer melts and as a result the Cover Plate 
is released. The two Heat Collectors are exposed and when sufficient heat from the fire is recorded,

 

internal components of the 

sprinkler to fall apart. This leads to the dropping of the Deflector into its operating position, allowing the water flow to be 
distributed on the affected by fire area. (Ref. Figure 2)
